  Ensures and maintains employee wellness through spiritual and contemplative support. Provides pastoral care and ministerial services to all Department of Correction employees. Partakes in all DOC ceremonial occasions and special events. Serves as a liaison among social service agencies and other community organizations and maintains an interdisciplinary approach. Performs Sacraments as needed, conduct Prayer and Chapel services and other religious ceremonies as the situation may call for. Facilitates employee support groups; partners with pastoral care providers to ensure that the multi-denominational needs of all employees are met; provides supportive crisis interventions to employees who are seriously or terminally ill, psychologically and emotionally disturbed, and to pre-operative and post-operative staff. Provides 24 hour on-call pastoral care to both DOC Staff and to their families on emergency needs. Maintains regular pastoral visits to all DOC facilities, hospitals and to the residence of the employee. Highly maintains record keeping on a daily basis or as required.
