• Act as a controller for multiple programs and entities, perform general journal entries in relation to received government funding, patients’ revenues, fundraising, transfers, grants, loans, and deferred revenues accounts. • Plan and organize the fixed assets depreciation schedules, departmental expenditures, prepaid schedules, shared services and intercompany transactions, accruals schedules, and payroll registration. • Oversee the billing for 350 beds nursing home facility and the collection process, manage the accounts payable and the accounts receivable, and complete multiple bank reconciliations. • Finalize and report the financial statements in a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis including converting financial statements to the Ministry healthcare reporting standards MIS-OHFS and assist in financial statements consolidation of multiple programs and entities. Submit various reports to the Ministry and other agencies and prepare ad-hoc reports to senior managers. • Prepare all analysis to support submitted year-end trial balance to the external auditor for the engagement process including perform in-depth financial analysis to all balance sheet accounts. Provide periodically cash flow, cash position, and treasury needs reports to senior management. • Perform annual budget, forecast analysis, and cash flow projection of multiple entities, and develop regular reporting to evaluate budget and profitability to advise senior management on financial objectives. Review overhead charges and approve departmental expenses to apply to each individual funding envelope. • Provide guidance to senior management to ensure project risks and opportunities are transparent by providing periodic cost variances analysis and maintaining project-related records. Submit required reports by regulatory agencies to receive maximum funding related to capital or operations projects. • Develop and implement new financial policies in conformity with IFRS by introducing changes.
