      Details of role undertaken: During this role I did many different tasks but one of my main jobs were to operate and maintain machinery that makes stockinette. It was of the upmost importance that the machines were maintained correctly everyday to keep production flowing and downtime to a minimum. So that stock levels can be maintained. Some of the maintenance required in this role were to replace broken needles, greasing of the machine to that it can run smoothly, cleaning down the machine, replacing parts as and when required also fixing the windups for the machines (where the final product would be wound up into reels) Other Tasks: • Warehouse (Picking & Packing) • Restocking Products • Cleaning warehouse & Production areas • Maintaining safe working environment Skills Acquired During This Role: • Maintain Machinery to reduce downtime so products and targets can be met on time and efficiently. • Good time management skills to improve work efficiency and productive work environment.
