I have worked with hundreds of producers and can say that working with Juan has been one of my favorite experiences. Juan is a true Renaissance man with a vast amount of fact-based knowledge and experience in multiple media areas. His cool head and sense-of-humor puts everyone at ease and makes any production go smoothly, even when juggling never-before-attempted, multi-media, live events such as "Energy At The Movies". He is highly organized and motivating and I look forward to working with him on many more projects in the future.

It's always a pleasure to work with Juan - he is a visionary multimedia/multi-platform producer and developer, who is able to make connections between people and organizations that are beyond what the average person sees. He routinely comes up with "outside the box" ideas. Juan is a genuinely nice guy who is always willing to help with a brainstorming session or an introduction - he knows everyone in the Austin digital media community!

Water and energy are the two fundamental components of a society, and they are interconnected. Thirst for Power, shot on location across France, California, and Texas, explores the history of civilization’s quest to procure abundant water and energy — from ancient Roman aqueducts in Europe to modern America’s vast hydroelectric infrastructure. The film explores our dependence on water for energy as well as vulnerabilities in our current systems.
