      Honor Thesis: Evaluate the effect of G4S linker on the fluorescence of GFP displaying on yeast surface. Overview: GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein) has been studied and exploited to detect biomolecules of interest. Based on the previous work of graduate student in the group, the binding loops with affinity to certain antigen are inserted in GFP. The linker was added into GFP with binding loops to partially disrupt its structure. Such disruption of GFP structure will not permanently eliminate the fluorescence of GFP, and such fluorescence can be restored once the antigen is captured by GFP binding loops. Show less
