As General Manager in Lazaya, an Aragonian company devoted to proccessing and exporting preserved fruit all over the world, and the third generation in the family business, these are my main achievements and goals in the current management of the company:▶ Ensuring business continuity, adapting it to the new challenges raised by globalization, without losing touch with our deep regional roots. ▶ Further invest in technology and efficient industrial equipment, as well as ensuring our commitment to food quality and safety guidelines, in order to improve Lazaya's competitiveness.▶ Making the amount of land available for cultivation of fruit trees greater (our plantations currently take up 130 hectares), so that this production may supply the factory with quality fruit. ▶ I am personally involved in the opening of new international markets for our preserved fruit of excellent quality.▶ Main values I supply to Lazaya's customer: reliance, know-how and responsibillity. ▶ Aspects I appreciate most in my team : hard work, honesty and continuous effort. • Export Manager
      • 1994 - 2007

My main goal was starting 'proactive' and 'structured' export activities at Lazaya. ▶ While exports of preserved fruit began in the seventies, when the company occasionally took orders from abroad, there is a turning point in the nineties of last century: Lazaya starts attending and exhibiting at the main international food trade fairs (first of all, Anuga, in 1995). ▶ At the same time, a wider range of commercial actions, including research trips to different parts of the world, started being made as a part of an ambitious business strategy for actively searching new customers abroad.
