Autonomous University of Madrid. Research work. Project "Assisted phytostabilisation of metal-contaminated mining environments: metal-soil-root exudate interactions". The work focused on the study of root exudation capacity, the interaction of the exudates with soil components and the optimisation of "soil-metal-amendment-microorganism-plant" conditions. In addition, the effect of heavy metals on the aerial part of the plant was studied by radiometry. Data processing and modelling to predict metal concentration in leaves was done using R and Python. I worked as a freelancer on the project "Land Use / Cover Area Frame Statistical Survey" for EUROSTAT. The work consisted of locating 527 points on the ground using GPS coordinates and orthophotos, and classifying the land cover and land use at each point. In addition, soil samples were taken at certain points and photographs were taken at the four cardinal points in order to assess the erosion of the landscape on the basis of photographs taken in previous years. These projects consisted of the taking of agronomic data of the vineyards (variety, rootstock, type of irrigation, origin of the water, age ...), and in the delimitation of the new SIGPAC enclosures on the orthophotos of the land. 2. Spring and winter, 2005 - 2008. Sig Citrícola de Andalucía and update thereof. 3. May - September. 2003 and 2004. Remote sensing control of CAP aid. In this project, the incidents that appeared in the declarations of the growers in the applications for CAP subsidies, were checked. Also, it was done the quality control of the photointerpretation of crops, as well as the point taking by GPS for the subsequent correction of orthophotos taken via satellite. Show less
