In collaboration with the Director of Research and Evaluation I'm coordinating a research project to help us develop a program to increase HIV testing and linkage to HIV medical and prevention services among Latino MSM. More specifically, I oversee and participate in the recruitment of the research participants, conduct focus groups with Latino MSM, maintain necessary project records and documents, monitor the progress of the research study, monitor data collection and input data to ensure accuracy of the study. I also prepare program reports and keep accurate up-to-date records and documentation, coordinate with social media app companies for the content, release dates and advertising strategies to maximize the number of participants. Moreover, I coordinate with our web designer to keep our website up to date and functioning perfectly and I coordinate with other program directors and staff in order to make successful referrals for our participants. Finally, I screen clients, conduct interviews and surveys, outreach in the apps and at other agency outreach sites (e.g. clubs, bath houses etc.), assist in the interpretation of the study findings, translate documents into Spanish and help with anything needed in the agency.
