Automation of a Harlan cargomaster tractor for the logistics operations of “Volkswagen de México”. I participated as a member of the team dedicated to the autonomous driving of the vehicle. This included trajectory planning and tracking algorithms programmed in Python, and Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) of the vehicle, using a Lidar sensor and Robotic Operating System (ROS) running on Linux. Design, construction and implementation of a robust mechatronic system for the monitoring and passengers counting, for their buses inside a residential area of the city. The projected involved programming of microcontrollers in C language, design and implementation of PCBs, sensing and protocol of communications using C and Python language.
