I joined the Tennessee Department of Transportation in 2005 as a transportation planner and worked in various roles within the department, including traffic modeling, the rural planning organization program, State Bicycle and Pedestrian Coordinator, and most recently as Manager of the Multimodal Planning Office. In my role as a transportation manager, I led coordination efforts to ensure multimodal transportation options were considered in TDOT’s planning and project development process. I also managed TDOT’s Multimodal Access Grant Program, Pedestrian Safety Initiative, Rail Connectivity Grant Program and Shortline Rail Rehabilitation Grant Program.
