Dec 2021 - Present
After transferring to Supported Living, I support individual and encourage their independence. In the days I support service users within the community and their own home. I administer medication throughout the day and regularly check PPE stock. When working overnight I deep clean the communal areas of the service, perform hourly checks for some of the residents and assist them with personal care if needed. I am always prepared for any potential accidents or emergencies which may occur and always around to support the residents when needed. Show less

I have been working as a support worker within a care home in Kingston for the past 8 months. I have developed relationships with all service users and support them with daily activities such as personal care, making and eating meals, supporting with medication, helping to maintain health and hygiene, encouraging participation in activities, providing company and supporting them to live as independently as possible. I have good understanding and knowledge of working with people with dementia, catheter care, operating moving equipment, dressing and caring for wounds etc. I always ensure that paperwork has been completed for every service user, including their food charts, body charts and activity charts. While working at caretech I have undertaken multiple training courses which have helped me with my day to day job. Show less

Housekeeping Assistant

In this role I ensured that the lodges were clean to a 5 star standard. I cleaned each area of the houses under a short amount of time ensuring this was done as soon as possible and always left the lodges in perfect condition. I would work in a team to prepare the lodges for guests and we would clean and prepare around 15-20 lodges each shift. In this role I ensured that the lodges were clean to a 5 star standard.
