Jessie and I were both members of the Missourians to End Poverty coalition. The purpose of the coalition was to ensure Missourians reach their full potential so they can participate in thriving, diverse, sustainable communities. Every other year, a poverty report was compiled. Jessie was crucial in collecting and compiling the data for the report. The data was presented in an easy and digestible format. She was always willing to help in any capacity and was always a joy to work with. One can tell how passionate Jessie is about her research and the work she completes.

While Jessie was working with us at the Northeast Missouri Humane Society, she was a valuable asset to our organization. Not only did she get us a grant for $50,000 from the PetSmart Foundation, among other grants, she developed a capital campaign for our shelter. With her assistance, we are going to able to be able open the doors of our new shelter at the beginning of July 2021. Jessie will be an amazing asset for any organization she is associated with.
