I designed girls sportswear, 2-6x and 7-16 for the private label, Copper Key Girls. Travels overseas to visit factories in Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, and mainland China to work on fit, pattern corrections, printing techniques, design, and inspiration gathering. Travels to NY, Montreal, Texas, and California for shopping, trend presentations, meeting with vendors, meeting with trend forecasters, print markets, and numerous other job related appointments. Sole designer who reviews the market, research, and trends to present designs for girls sportswear product including but not limited to: bottoms (both knit and woven), tops (both knit and woven), seasonal items, and outerwear. Leads a team of CAD artists, and technical designer to ensure trend correct artwork is produced, as well as desired fit of product. Also serves as primary contact for VP on the childrens area designers budget, and manages/keeps up to date all trend related subscriptions for all areas. Serves on the Child Safety Committee to ensure proper safety protocall is followed for not only my area of design, but also the rest of the childrens areas (boys, infants, seasonal).

I was also given specific lines to design for boys swimwear in which I prepared all CADS, design/spec packages, and completed all bill of materials.
