I work closely with Chief Forecaster, as well as manage a team of meteorologists (7+) to make sure the forecast across all products is consistent, accurate and up-to-date with each other. I monitor and lead team activity and performance, and decide on actions to be taken to ensure customer expectations are met, such as moving tasks and responsibilities. I also deal with software issues and manage the shift roster. Other responsibilities include supporting and advising Operational Managers, Service Leads and Line Managers in monitoring performance and delivering training and development to ensure appropriate skills and knowledge in the team.
