I had the pleasure of working with Jessica during my time as member, and then Chair, of 'The Linguist' Editorial Board at CIOL. Jessica's contributions to the meetings and to the journal were always well thought out and she demonstrated a natural ability to think critically and creatively. She was always punctual and demonstrated professional behaviour during discussions. Jessica also wrote articles sharing her professional knoweldge and experience in the translation, subtitling and research sectors with the wider readership.
