I work with a team of two other developers at Primal Screen and mainly develop educational, interactive games for children. Everybody else at the office is an animator, illustrator, producer, or some other sort of creative role, so I'm constantly surrounded by a variety of new ideas and projects. With only three developers at our studio, I've been challenged to learn and work with different programming languages, frameworks, and skills in order to get all of our work done.

      • May 2017 - Jul 2017

As a lead teacher with the Youth Digital Summer Camp program, I taught both the Video Game Development and Mod Design Courses to children 8-14 year of age. Each week presented a different group of kids and one of the two courses mentioned above. I took charge of pacing and organizing the set curriculum for the week. I was able to work with one or more assistant teachers during most weeks of the summer program, but also faced the challenge of performing the job on my own.
