Supervise and educate staff in their execution and development of daily academic activities Maintained and developed authentic communication with all clients enrolled in program Accountable for the operations of an individual child-care center; 100+ children in daily attendance Direct and Manage 10+ staff daily for optimal performance Rainbow Rising was established in 1989 for the sole purpose of meeting the needs of the school age children in Irvine, California. We are currently located at 10 elementary schools in Irvine. We provide before and after school care as well as all day care when school is not in session. Our all day programs include fall intercessions, winter and spring recess, summer day camp, teacher in-service days, minimum days, modified days and parent conference days. We have a developmentally based program with homework and enrichment time, recreational play, crafts, arts, music, dance, science and math. We provide opportunities for socialization, friendships and free choice play, as we believe these are essential building blocks for the whole child's growth and development. All Directors are qualified under the California State Department of Social Services Licensing laws. They have obtained the required college level units in child development and have attended Administration classes. In addition all Directors are CPR and first aid trained as well as being trained in pediatric first aid. Show less
