As an AmeriCorps member, I will be serving at Zufall Community Health Center where I'm part of a 10 person team who's main focus is to improve access to primary medical and dental care for our underinsured and uninsured population. At Zufall I will help enroll patients into medicaid/medicare or affordable insurance. I will also help as a translator for Spanish-speaking patients and be part of other community and educational events.

Duties include pouring samples for testing, making of wash plates and solutions, manual and automated RNA extraction followed by RT-PCR.
