  The Whittier High Song Team is a branch of the school's pepster program, which includes a cheer team, and consists of 45 pepsters. As a song coach, I work primarily, though not exclusively, with a smaller team of 7 songleaders, helping prepare them for different performances and appearances at school and community events. Responsibilities often include preparing lesson plans, conducting dance technique classes, choreographing and teaching routines to the team, and attending all events the pesters are requested or required to attend. In this position, I communicate with Pepster Advisor to stay up to date on school notices, practices, events, etc. as well as updating her on the songleaders' progress throughout the season.   As Chapter President, I facilitated communication between the Executive Board and the Chapter Advisor while overseeing event planning and member outreach. During my term, I was able to organize a new chapter-funded scholarship available to ALD members at USC which increased scholarship participation by 150%.   At Scotty's, I was primarily responsible for seating guests and assisting servers in fulfilling guests' requests during their meals. Common duties included preparing tables for new parties, bringing drinks or other simple requests to tables, communicating with servers and other staffs, and collecting payments after meals. I was able to develop and maintain high standards of customer service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
