  As an artist of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago I interpret and perform roles of varying styles and stories with my own voice as an influence.I have had the honor to dance in works by contemporary masters such as Mats Ek, Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, and Nacho Duato among others. I have also originated roles in pieces by Twyla Tharp, Sharon Eyal, Victor Quijada, Alejandro Cerrudo, Aszure Barton, Jonathan Fredrickson, Robyn Mineko Williams and others.In addition to performing, I lead master classes in ballet technique and HSDC repertory. I am a faculty member for HSDC's annual summer intensive workshop. In December 2013 I assisted in the creation of a new work by Jonathan Fredrickson at Hubbard Street's inaugural week-long winter workshop. Working for Hubbard Street has also allowed me to participate in dance-based educational outreach programs from classrooms of some Chicago Public Schools to community halls as far away as Algeria.I hope to empower younger dancers by encouraging the exploration of their own individual voice through dance. I believe that every artist is unique and should embrace their differences.
