As the Project Manager of Weitzner Textiles, a high end residential textile and wallcoverings brand, I design fabric, trim, wallcovering, stationary, jewelry, accessories, tile, rugs, and more through our various licenses. I manage the colorwork for all our products as well as the the textile development. I evaluate lab dips and color matching and coordinate our color developments efficiently to meet our deadlines. I facilitate product development and meet with worldwide suppliers daily. I advise suppliers to tweak color, alter constructions, and develop new designs with Adobe Suite. I innovate our collection themes and names, collect inspiration imagery, and create boards and romance presentations for our marketing team. I coordinate the designs to fit cohesively into our collection theme, work within our budget, and then present our collections to our sales teams. Show less

I participated in a ten-week internship program at a corporate home office for the women’s plus-sized retailer, Catherine's. Utilizing Adobe Suite and Kaledo Print, I created custom prints for Summer 2016, as well as recoloring bought prints and putting prints in repeat. I was able to voice an opinion during Print meetings with vendors. I assisted the trend and color team by creating mood boards and pages for the Summer 2016 trend book. I attended weekly business seminars taught by department executives to learn more about the various sectors of the business from marketing, to merchandising, to finance. Throughout the summer, I worked with four other interns to develop a solution to real business case focused on Omni-Channel Retailing.
