Currently working in an independent pharmacy setting that handles retail pharmacy services, services to in patient nursing facilities, and compounding services with an in house lab. Our pharmacy currently fills on average 500-600 rxs daily in addition to medication packaging services, nursing facility services, and custom rx compounding. Our lab specializes in custom hormone compounding, custom medications for children requiring complex medical treatment, as well as pet meds. While our lab is not sterile, we do custom formulations of capsules, troches, creams, gels, liquids, medicated animal treats, nasal sprays, and more. Our Pharmacy has partnered to provide services to the Mason and surrounding areas as well working with local nursing facilities, correctional facilities, providing community vaccinations and prides itself on being a vital part of the Mason community. With such a high rx volume and the additional services we offer we manage a very high call volume. I pride myself in my customer services skills in person but also over the phone, I pride myself in being able to connect with out patients and make them feel like their healthcare is our top concern. I work well independently but also enjoy working on teams and taking on new projects together. My work at Yost being an independent pharmacy has offered me the ability to grow and take on more responsibilities and become more knowledgeable in the pharmacy worked by offering opportunities I wouldn't have had in a corporate setting. I think this growth will make me an asset to any new team in the pharmacy world. Show less
