I have been responsible for the post completion stages for client HMV. This involved handling over 100 matters at one time, requiring excellent organisation skills and communication within my team. This experience has given a good knowledge of SDLT and the registration process. As well as this I have also completed various work for a number of different fee earners. This required me to ensure that I could keep to differing deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work. I am able to get up the curve quickly when learning new things and am able to settle into a team quickly. Show less

Case Assistant (Paralegal)
-
Aug 2013 - Apr 2014
Continued to work within the Care Fee Recoveries team where I continued doing the same work as before (please see below) including reviewing clients’ medical records to decide whether they have a potential claim for NHS Continuing Health Care and advise them accordingly. During my employment I have taken on the responsibility of handling a case load of 80 files. This has enabled me to develop my client contact skills and case management skills. I also appeal assessments of ineligibility if there is a reasonable prospect of success and prepare submissions for Panel. I have attended a Panel hearing which involves presenting your case to the Chair as well as nurses and other medical professionals. Show less
