  My responsibilities as a recreation officer at Wintringham includes communication and interaction with residents whom are socially isolated from both society and fellow residents in addition to facilitation of recreation and social activities. My involvement with residents is both individual during 1:1 discussion sessions and within group settings. My role is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for both the residents and staff where individuals are able to interact with each other increasing mental awareness, mental health, cognitive stimulation and self-esteem.
