  I've held several positions at Apex in the years that I've worked here, starting as a foster care specialist for the first two years. I then transitioned to a role that we labeled as support specialist, in which I assisted the supervision team with additional tasks such as training new specialists and other tasks to support them, placing foster youths, and training foster parents. In July 2020, I transitioned again to the role of training specialist where I focused solely on training new foster parents and workers as well as providing on-going education required by the DHHS for both parties.
