IT Helpdesk
-
Feb 2011 - Oct 2011
Answering telephone calls from Wirral Council employees reporting IT issues. Giving advice for self repair or obtaining relevant information and allocating to a team for further investigation. This position involved working to tight time frame targets and ensuring that these targets were met. I was also responsible for maintaining the helpdesk email account and responding to all emails that we received. As a result of this position it was imperative that I was conversant in a lot of computer software including all Microsoft packages and all of the council in house systems. I was excellent at problem solving and able to offer solutions to callers without the need to visit in person. Show less
