This job consists of working with children in the age range of 3 to 14 years old, teaching them the basic moves required in gymnastics. The key element is to use the correct communication level due to the age range. The role also requires me to support and ensure health and safety is a priority at all times when the children are using the equipment. Senior Activity Leader
-
Jun 2012 - Jul 2012
Since my first great experience of summer school, I reapplied for the senior position of my previous role. My requirement was unchanged apart from the fact I was leading the activity team and ensuring everyone did their part. I also attended meetings ensuring all staff were informed on the planned schedule and were happy with it. The challenging factor of this role was to accommodate for such a wide age range of youths and their cultural background. My responsibilities were to provide top customer service by ensuring the customer always got what they were looking for. General housekeeping so the shop was always at a high presentable manner, making sure stock on the shop floor was always replenished and organizing delivery.
