  I had the great opportunity to gain event experience over summer 2021 at this four star wedding venue, Houchins. My job roles consisted of assisting the set up of weddings and turn down, liaising with internal and external clients, being part of the ceremony in charge of AV/Music and shadowing the event manager with bride communications before the ceremony takes place ensuring timings are correct and everything is running smoothly. I also had shifts behind the on-site bar making drinks to order, handling cash and dealing with any issues .
