I also acted as a liaison between students and instructors when conflicts arose to ensure both parties were heard and understood. Contact Center Level II Representative April 2021-July 2021 As a Contact Center Level II Representative, I became a floor leader and maintained more responsibility, such as reaching out to students through other methods (texting and emailing) and updating department statistics throughout the day. I planned and implemented group activities for the school-aged playroom patients and for teen group. For the playroom activity, I provided the necessary supplies to create a stethoscope out of a hand band, ribbon and felt. The children enjoyed this activity and I saw them many times afterwards using the stethoscope on their teddy bears and baby dolls! For the teen group, I planned an activity for the upcoming holiday of July 4th. When gathering ideas for what to do for my teen group, I heard some of the adolescents discussing how they were sad they wouldn't be able to see fireworks for the 4th of July holiday due to their hospitalization. Using salt, water, black construction paper and water color paint, we created our own fireworks! I also was part of the caseworkers' team meetings and supervision meetings where they discussed their cases with the team and their supervisor in order to determine the best plan of action. I also observed biological parent visitations with their children who were currently in foster care. During my internship, I was responsible for creating a reference binder of services available to families in the Cattaraugus county area for the caseworkers to reference. I researched local services and resources to include in the binder and ensured I had the correct contact and reference person for each agency being listed.
