I interacted with clients and their animals on a daily basis as the first point of contact for them when coming into the clinic. Everyday, I performed basic technician duties such as taking a thorough history, drawing blood, setting IV catheters, taking radiology films, filing prescriptions, safely holding patients for procedures, and caring for animals pre and post surgery, etc. At this practice. we worked with a mixed variety of animals. We incur large animals such as cows, and horses daily, with the occasional goat or pig. A major percentage of the practice deals with small animals though. For example: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and reptiles were seen.

As a mustang trainer representative I focused on an awareness campaign while training a yearling Mustang. The foundation required I: - Research and write a 2 page paper on the history of wild mustangs. -Research and write a 2 page paper on a current issue with the wild mustangs. -Connect and share weekly updates with a youth who is unable to train a wild mustang -Implement a campaign that promotes awareness and adoption ~To accomplish this I shared weekly updates on a social media page and a blog and I also gave a presentation to a horse club on my work with mustangs and their plight.
