As a Counselor's assistant I was responsible for every day office functioning. I would check clients into the operating system, and I would facilitate UAs and BAs when necessary. During groups I was able to observe the Counselor to gain hours for a CAC III. As a Counselor's assistant I was responsible for every day office functioning. Residential Supervisor
-
Oct 2006 - Jul 2011
As a supervisor at Kidz Ark I was responsible for the overall operations of the Sterling, Co campus. The 3 houses held up to 36 at risk youth and at least 6 staff. The children in our care were most often dual diagnosis individuals, who required a very high level of care. This is the job that got me interested in the educational path that I am currently on.
