I worked as a student writer for Grocott's Mail during my studies. I first worked as a sports journalist (2018 - 2019) and reported on the local sporting events in Makhanda (Gramahstown). In 2020, I became greatly interested in reporting on education (mainly early-childhood development). I worked with numerous educational NGOs in Makhanda and reported on many uplifting programmes and initiatives these NGOs ran in the local schools and communities.
