  I am the head of the musical theatre department at Evolve Arts and have helped grow our classes and build new programmes. I helped start up the teenage musical theatre classes, which prepares students for auditions into drama schools and also expands their knowledge and portfolio. I have expanded our dance classes, by teaching CSTD Jazz technique and RAD Ballet technique. Not only do I teach these techniques in the dance class but I also bring this to our musical theatre classes, as it is very important to have a strong dance base when doing musicals. Furthermore, I have successfully directed and choreographed large scale shows which involve the whole musical theatre department. From organising logistics, make rehearsal schedules, designing and programming lights, and assisting with costume and set design. I often help with theatre in education workshops, in which we work with different international schools, such as Nexus International School.

  I choreographed and directed the musical theatre department students in "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. This was the first time they had done a fully sung through musical, with my help they tackled this very well and the Musical was a huge success.

  The older Musical Theatre class put on a fantastic performance influenced and based off the musical "Once On This Island". This was the first major performance that we did with this class.

  Musical Theatre Department major production of Hairspray Jr! We looked into the American History of segregation as well as the different cultures of that time in the United States of America. This helped the students understand the story and portray characters correctly. I strongly feel knowing the history and culture of a time period a musical is set in is fundamental to portray truthfully.
