Tinnitus Support Group Co-ordinator and Fundraising Assistant
-
Feb 2015 - Aug 2015
I ran a monthly Tinnitus support group which involved; organising a varied programme of topics and activities, facilitating the meetings in collaboration with the speakers and presenters who attend the meetings, writing and circulating a monthly newsletter, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of each meeting, keeping monthly monitoring data on service performance and keeping up-to date records of the service users, and marketing and developing the group. I was also the fundraising assistant, which mainly involved developing new and imaginative fundraising activities, planning and undertaking a range of community fundraising activities, and recruiting, developing and managing a team of volunteer-supporters who assist in the fundraising events. I also assisted in other areas of the Charity’s work, such as reception duties, when the needs arise. Show less
