I launched a new Explore Learning centre situated in Handsworth, Birmingham. With my new assistant manager team I oversaw the initial launch phase; researching the area and finding new marketing opportunities. The new launch allowed us to develop our reputation within a new area and build bonds with the local community. Alongside this, I was also involved in the writing and running of Sales and Centre Growth trainings aimed to develop our Assistant Directors. I was the Sales Trainer for the Birmingham region, which allowed me to work alongside other centres with the aim to develop sales skills and increase sales motivation throughout the Midlands centres. Explore Learning is a network of learning centres providing maths and English tuition to children aged 5-14, designed to improve knowledge, confidence and enjoyment of learning. Explore Learning is owned by Graphite Capital, management, and the Weston family.In my role as Centre Director I took over an existing centre with a new assistant manager team. This included the organisation of sales and marketing events as well as working with my Assistant Directors to tap into new sales opportunities within the local area. As Centre Director I also have ownership over Management Accounts which allows me to analyse centre performance and profitability and work with my team to improve these.
