  Highlights of my tenure in Onslow County include the adoption of a full suite of new NCGS 160D complaint ordinances: zoning, subdivision, minimum housing and floodplain management; the development of the Joint Land Use Study between Onslow County and Camp Lejeune; and leading the recovery and resiliency efforts following Hurricanes Florence. I successfully led efforts to redesign nearly every workflow and operating system in the Planning & Development Department, as well as developing a contemporary training and compensation system for code enforcement officers to assist in recruitment, development, and retention of staff. I am proud to have initiated the employment of the High-Performance Organization (HPO) Model in the department. Show less
