Bio
Jennifer Durst
I had the pleasure of coaching Jess when she was a Peer Inclusion Leader. Jess supported drop in programming for peers and she was very much committed to a sense of community and supporting a positive student experience. She skillfully co-facilitated sessions and enabled participants to feel a sense of belonging. Jess has strong self reflection skills and she uses these to support building collaborative relationships with others that she works with and is quick to support the strengths and skills of others.

What can I say about Jess - she is an excellent employee, colleague and someone I am very happy to have had the chance to work with. Jess came to us with next to no tech recruitment experience/knowledge - within a few weeks she was up an running on tasks that usually take much longer to master through her natural inquisitiveness, intelligence and ability to grasp concepts. In no time she had developed an eye for a good profile, was up an running with doing screener/vetting calls with candidates from all over the globe, handled professionally, empathetically and with great attention to detail. She is never afraid to ask questions in her pursuit of knowledge and experience, which as a supervisor/mentor is great as that's half the battle. She is analytical, able to extract data from our DB in pursuit of insights and often through her own initiative. Good with tech and unafraid to try new things. She is always on hand to lend a hand to any colleagues in need of assistance. She certainly helped me out many times over the year, often learning more from her than she did me. I cannot overstate how amazing Jess would be on a TA team, she has all the tools. I recommend her highly.
