  I took part in the UI Bootcamp; it was a wonderful experience. We learnt about various vehicles for funding available, evaluating impact through the Theory of Change, determining the financial health of organisations and the importance of understanding the problem a social enterprise is trying to solve.We were taught through lectures and practical work writing investment memos, which we then pitched to the investment committee.

  I taught Mathematics, AP Mathematics, Science and IT to students in preparatory school through to university. I focused mainly mainly on teaching Mathematics and Physics to upper high school students.I loved seeing my students grow as they engaged with the material. I tried my best to represent the work in a playful way, as many had been burned by the subjects at school. It was very rewarding to see their confidence grow in the subjects that used to be so daunting.
