During this volunteer service learning experience, I worked in the Fit4Life and Building Better Balance (BBB) classes. The Fit4Life was a group of higher functioning older adults, I led warm-ups and cool downs, helped with the neuromotor activities, and helped the clients during their resistance and aerobic training. The BBB class was lower functioning older adults who are at a much greater risk of falls and required more attentional demand in balance and mobility, to make activities of daily living easier.

Interning at this Chiropractic office was an amazing learning opportunity for me. I shadowed the offices four doctors, sitting in on patient’s initial examination, X-rays, decompression, therapy, and adjustments.
