Sep 2021 - Present
Leading the editorial team at emotive, I work across a wide range of healthcare communications activities, business development opportunities and marketing activities to ensure the quality of materials and proposals designed for clients, HCPs and the public. I joined the agency with the responsibility of establishing an editorial department from scratch. This meant evolving and implementing key processes to improve the consistency and quality of outputs, including the development of style guides and training of teams on editorial process. I am responsible for the training and line management of new team members, in addition to copy-editing, proofreading and fact-checking print and digital content, updating style guides, providing guidance on tone, appearance and appeal to target audience, and collaborating with writing and creative teams. I help manage the resourcing of the editorial department and liaise with traffic management to ensure work moves smoothly and efficiently through the department.
