I am the founder of the women's wine club Mermaids and Merlot. This is a wine appreciation group where women gather once a week to discuss life and wine. As a WSET certified wine lover myself, I guide the group through a flight of wine and teach along the way. The hope is to give women the knowledge and confidence to select wine that they will enjoy from a shelf, or wine list and to feel comfortable discussing what they like about it, where it comes from and why it tastes the way it does. Girls night out has never been so educational - life is complicated, wine shouldn't be! Show less

Due to exceptional communication skills and a team player attitude was able to move up from a Hostess/Busser position to that of a Server, where responsibilities include time management, working well as part of a team and creating a unique dining experience for our guests. As a Manager of one of the busiest restaurants in the city, my ability to calmly and optimistically approach any situation with a guest or employee is my greatest asset – Responsibilities in this position include managing money, multitasking issues throughout each shift, properly opening and closing every evening, maintaining order among a staff of approximately 40 people per night and making sure that every guest leaves feeling happy and warmly hosted throughout their dining experience with us.
