      It was an honor to participate in full-time research under Dr. David Largeaspada for the summer of 2021. This experience involved an in-depth look into drug combination treatments against Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Tumors (MPNSTs). MPNSTs are most commonly found in Neurofibromatosis patients, but can also arise sporadically. I am especially motivated by Dr. Largeaspada's research as my brother passed away from the implications associated with an MPNST in 2013. I plan to continue cancer research in my future. Show less
