      As a Designer at Taronga Zoo I was responsible for the concept development, design and roll out of a number of projects across branding, events, signage and marketing campaigns. Key responsibilities and skills included: - Working with clients across Events, Corporate partnerships, Community engagement, HR, Wildlife Science, Foundation and Marketing teams to create print, digital and signage projects that championed the Taronga brand and core messages. This involved ensuring that Taronga brand guidlines were adhered to in the creation of internal and external materials while also considering project budgets and timelines. Frequent Taronga projects included signage, digital advertising campaigns, edm headers, brochures, branding, document design, fundraising collateral and merchandise. - Development and artwork for exhibition signage at Sydney and Dubbo zoo site. This involved autonomously creating signage from creative concepts right through to material selections and supervising installations on site. - Illustration designs for marketing campaigns, major events and sub brands. Examples include hero artwork for the Twilight at Taronga Concert Series in 2019 and 2020 and mascot development for the Zoo Friends brand in 2021. - Creating digital content for the Taronga website, social channels and out of home media including basic animations in After Effects. - Development of internal brands (logos, brand guidlines and initial digital + print assets) for small scale campaigns such as apps and events through to prominent product offerings such as Zoo Friends. - Large format signage including billboards and stage art for events from concept through to final art. - Presentation of concepts and projects on behalf of the Design Studio to various teams and Executive staff. - Liaising with printers, clients and stakeholders to ensure correct production and installation of projects. - Assistance with onboarding new team members including Designers and Junior staff Show less
