As Art Director, I refine our brand vision as platforms and media evolve, while growing as a visual storyteller from ideation through production. With a goal of building community, I also help identify opportunities for two-way engagement with our audience.In the social media scope, I lead a team of social media design interns remotely to produce content that pushed engagement. We worked to grow our Instagram followers(now 32.4k) and our Twitch followers(now 4.6k). In the print space, we began producing magazines quarterly (in addition to special editions) that reach 204 comic shops. In post-production, we transformed the features to social media to increase reach and interaction.2022 Eddie & Ozzie Awards: Den of Geek Magazine won best Advertorial/Sponsored Content: Consumer/Custom Content Marketing (Den of Geek x Vikings: Valhalla Special Edition Magazine). 2021 Eddie & Ozzie Awards: Den of Geek Magazine won best Advertorial/Sponsored Content: Consumer/Custom Content Marketing (eBay Special Edition Magazine) and Best Consumer Magazine Launch (Den of Geek Magazine Quarterly Launch Issue 2021). Multimedia Producer

As a Multimedia Producer, I cover a range of projects. I work on social media coverage, by captioning and scheduling content on major social media platforms. I helped increase our Instagram followers by 3,000 in one year and push content through social media stories, bringing our impressions to 28,000 per week. I also assist our video production team, by scriptwriting and video editing. A major part of creating content with Den of Geek is attending Comic-Cons/SXSW and distributing our publication, which reaches 40,000+ in person per edition and has digitally reached 5.4 million impressions(single issue) on Issuu. I produce front-of-book content and features, as part of our print design team. For our 2018 San Diego Comic-Con Edition, Den of Geek won honorable mention for Folio: Eddie & Ozzie Awards' Design Team of the Year. Show less

I experienced the connection between education and design, while building and updating learning objectives within FAA guidelines. We produced online training for employees of diverse backgrounds. I worked on a range of projects from Flash conversions(six large conversions over 14 weeks) in Articulate Storyline, to course prototypes in Rise 360. I received the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification during the internship and extended my internship by invitation. As a Creative Director, I lead a team of designers in creation of a quarterly print magazine and made final decisions regarding the editing process. I also worked to create a larger creative community and doubled our design staff over two years while on the creative executive staff. We published quarterly and distributed approximately 4,500 copies per issue.During my first semester as Creative Director, I took an internship in Washington D.C. I learned to remotely lead a team of 13 designers, through digital communication and delegating assignments to Art Directors for a productive workflow.Our Vol. 12, Issue 3: The Community Issue was recognized as a finalist of SPJ's Region 4 Mark of Excellence Awards, for Best Student Magazine. I also produced online article images to aid in digital storytelling.During my time as Art Director, our Creative Director took an out-of-state internship, creating a need for increased in-person leadership. Multimedia Intern

I worked to educate the general public with a wide age range about the Hubble Space Telescope through Augmented Reality, pushing boundaries on how users learn. I assisted the Conceptual Image Lab in creating animations for press releases and social media. I ideated data collected from the Hubble Space Telescope when a possible moon was found orbiting a planet in another solar system. I also created the animation for a series illustrating the tools astronauts used when servicing Hubble. I was also part of the team that planned the STEM Girls' Night In and Hubble Servicing 25th anniversary event. Show less
