  Summer role working with the Petersfield Shakespeare Festival outdoor theatre group. Responsibilities included managing props, recording the stage directions and being a runner between the cast, producers and directors. Due to a short rehearsal period the role is fast paced, and involves problem solving and organisation. As production photographer my images were used in the programme and on social media.   Work on Good Housekeeping, Prima and Red Magazines (Lifestyle Division) involved being responsible for many of the regular pages, mainly in the Travel, Health and Entertainment sections so i gained confidence in using picture agencies to carry out picture research to meet a brief. Teamwork and communication enabled my to assist with tasks for other team members at busy points. Due to the fast-paced nature of this work, was able to learn quickly on the job. Research tasks required me to source a succinct selection of images which fit the unique style of each feature, and collaborate with the Art Director and her team to achieve the editor’s vision. Admin tasks involve negotiating pricing with picture agencies, then processing and recording invoices, and checking picture credits, which require an attention to detail and an understanding of copyright.
