I was granted the opportunity to teach English Literature to a diverse group of rising ninth through twelfth graders at Brown Summer High School during the summer of 2016. BSHS is an open application, four-week long enrichment program that challenges students from the greater Providence area to engage their minds in tackling big questions. These students become active participants in the learning experience, and develop essential skills in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking.
