Bio
Jason Johnson
Jess is an extremely talented, forward thinking UX/UI designer. She was instrumental in the launch of many of our web properties and systems including our home page, client dashboard, blog and others. Her influence can be seen throughout all of Poptent to this day. She is all around a stellar person to work with and great team player. Given the opportunity, I would love to work with her in the future.
Chris Vasquez
Jess has the rare ability to create experiences that allow users of varying skill levels to accomplish complex tasks and interact with big pools of data. I saw this first hand at Poptent where she was able to create a suite a tools that allowed us to categorize and source from a huge pool of filmmakers, then interact with those creators to iterate through the process of video planning, production, and post-production. Jess was able to make every project I worked with her on a success through a combination of meticulous organization, clear communication, and a deep understanding of not only the what of attractive user interfaces, but the why. The project that most impressed me while working with Jess was her development of a global visual and interactive framework for Poptent. This was a massive undertaking where she handled the UI design, managed the development of the functional framework with our front end developers, and organized numerous corporate "lunch and learns" where the team revealed new interface elements and explained the rationale behind them.
