We started Zonar Systems at the end 2001, a brutal year for startups, the Sept 11th terror strikes were fresh on everyone's mind. Just as we were getting our first big sales, I hired Jesse. Few people in technology will ever know what it is like to go from Zero to $100M in revenue, less yet have the chops to actually do it, Jesse knows how it's done, and has exactly what it takes to make it happen. Not only does he know how to build systems that are highly scalable and highly reliable, he knows how to do it on a very limited budget, we built Zonar with NO institutional money, a true bootstrapped startup. He is highly adept at technology, but at the same time excellent with customers and knows that sales is vitally important. Our sales team would have taken him on the road every week of the year if I had let them. If I had to pick one word to describe Jesse, that word would be "Execution". When you hire someone, who runs on "auto-pilot" your life and your company become that much easier, he is THAT guy, rarely will you need to tell him what to do.
