Teams included Google, KPMG, Facebook, Goodman's and MLSE. Thanks to the amazing support of the participants, sponsors, past and present Olympians, volunteers and committee members, over three years we have raised over $620,000 in support of groundbreaking research at the LTRI. The day included competitive and recreational games, a feature match between past and present Canadian Beach Volleyball Olympians and many onsite activities throughout the day. Over 90% of funds raised will go directly to the cause, as we worked to have very low operational costs. Key to the success of this tournament was leveraging our network, as well as strong marketing. Together, Beyond Marketing Group now provides our clients data driven insights, creative, social engagements and experiences to meet their consumer goals/objectives. As the VP, Client Services and Digital, my role was to manage the account services department while also being the lead digital and marketing strategist for our current and prospective partners. Further, I worked to discover, build and develop partnerships with clients such as Google, Harlequin, RBC and Toyota. As our Digital and Consumer Marketing expert, my role focused on providing leadership in digital strategy, content development, social media strategy/development and digital/social paid media. During my time at Beyond Marketing Group, my business development helped to quadruple our revenue. This was done by driving growth through strong relationships, strategy and results with current clients, such as Google and LifeAid. Numbers also grew by me bringing on new clients such as Circle K and General Mills. Show less

This included managing and overseeing all creative, social media and analytics campaigns for clients such as Google US, Google Canada, RBC, NBA and Kubota. As part of my role, I led strategic development of integrated brand campaigns and projects built off of analytics and social data. These campaigns and projects drove engagement, awareness and sales for various brands. The projects/relationships that I have worked on include creative, media and ecosystem strategies across multiple channels and platforms. What differentiates Engagement Labs is that strategy is derived from analytics both online and offline, gaining true consumer insights and white spaces. Working with multiple levels of business leaders, I enhanced client trust and relationships, for current and new business, which has been pivotal to tripling investment from clients including Google and RBC. A large part of my job is acquiring new business. I led and drive new business opportunities by leveraging my personal network and by joining other senior team members to meet with C level executives at many companies across Canada and the US. Some of the new clients that I have personally brought on include, NBA Canada, DC Superhero Girls and Harlequin Books. Show less

Leading a team of 20 committee members and 50+ volunteers, we developed a two-pronged fundraising effort: a 26 team hockey tournament coupled with an amazing sponsorship driven evening event. Of the dollars raised, all proceeds (over 90% of fundraising) go to funding inclusion programs for individuals with developmental disabilities such as Autism at the Reena Foundation. The charity is in memory of a close friend’s brother who past away after complications with Aspergers Syndrome. Key to our success was the creation of a website, and application of social media strategy and creative that built amazing community awareness. This was coupled with PR, which had us appear on CBC, CTV, CityTV and Global, among others. This was key to helping to us partner with top-tier corporate sponsors, and have celebrity appearances, such as Ken Dryden, Greg Zaun and Phil Kessel . This all led to interest, awareness and increased fundraising efforts at the event. The final event took place March 27, 2016. However, the $1 Million has been put into an endowment fund that will live on in perpetuity funding many programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. My responsibilities include working with our Brand Marketing teams on branded digital campaigns and projects for GMCC’s top Canadian brands, bringing the new opportunities that digital offers to the Sales Team as well as strategizing the online corporate program, “Life Made Delicious” (Website, Social, CRM, etc…). Coming into this role, I knew it was important to lead change, as digital is not only a burgeoning field; the classical ways of doing marketing are changing daily. To enable the internal teams, and to help cut down on obduracy to change, I created and led 18 Digital Lunch and Learns, including, “SEO and SEM”, "Integrated Marketing" and “The Multi-Screen World”. This has led to stronger engagement from the brands, as well as my winning of the 2013 “General Mills Brand Champions Award”. Working with our Brand Marketing Teams, I am responsible for digital strategy, brand consultation as well as digital agency alignment. As part of this, I initiated a RFP process, bringing on Tribal Worldwide, which has driven a much stronger interest in digital integration as well as new and progressive campaigns from Tribal and Cossette. This includes Peanut Butter Cheerios “#HowToDad” campaign and Nature Valley’s “Field Trip”. Managing the Life Made Delicious program, I led a million dollar site redesign. In charge of leading our internal team, as well as aligning our agency and international tech team, the site was launched successfully, meeting our strategic creative objectives and has led to positive metrics increases across the board. The site was also built for mobile with a responsive design to better serve the changing marketplace. The above led to the General Mills Canada digital spend tripling over a two year period, as well as amazing campaigns that have driven strong business results.

Working with our Montreal office, I have been the main contact in on-boarding the office with various online initiatives. This helped Proximity to collaborate and further present themselves as a world leader. Using programs such as Google Analytics, I was responsible for collecting integral data and metrics to present clients with real statistics on the efficiency and effectiveness of campaigns. Trained in website CMS, I was responsible for making major changes and additions to websites, such as Cesar.ca. This helped to launch an all new section of the website that added to the success of a larger integrated campaign. Show less
