Recently, I've been responsible for a variety of controls and infrastructure upgrades for some major energy producers and pipelines. The projects are, typically, to bring more modern and efficient equipment to existing facilities to increase overall integrity and production of the facility. Although my tasks are now tailored more towards safety, planning and execution, I still get the opportunity to perform trouble shooting and commissioning tasks on a regular basis. It is essential to be able to adapt, prioritize and problem solve when working with existing infrastructure. Especially in outage situations. Show less

When I first started with Strike I would usually work on new construction projects. After a short time, I moved into a Quality Control role. This gave me the opportunity to develop my skills using computer programs like Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam Revu. As my skillset continued to grow, I began taking on more of a leadership support role and working on existing facilities.Throughout my time with Strike I have been able to work on on many electrical and control systems, including:- Motor control centers- UPS power systems- Communication networks- Auxiliary power systems- Measurement and detection equipment- PLC's and control systems- Troubleshooting and commissioning Show less
